It has a large temple called a Parthenon it has a large statue of Athena made of gold and ivory. Legends say that Poseidon and Athena had a competition to have a city named after them. Poseidon promised the wonder of the sea. And Athena gave them a olive tree. They chose the olive tree because it seemed more useful.
