It is located there because of their large capacity of catfish. Secondly it is the cities main income of food. Due to these reasons the city put up this statue.

Attack 2 : Why Care?
Well due to the tempture and depth of the red river... The channel catfish have been mooching off the lake and have became an invasive species. The not-so-ordinary catfish have become mammoth sized and made species like the blue pike extinct.
