John Cabot was the Second explorer ever to discover North America claiming the land for king Henry VII of England. He set foot on the East coast of Canada and colonized it. Unlike Christopher Columbus John Cabot knew the world was much bigger then what Christopher Columbus claimed it to be. Not was John Cabot responsible for colonizing Canada but he also created trade routes from North America to Europe allowing Europe's economy to flourish
