Born 5/20/1806 --- Died 5/8/1873 Mill was raised in London by his father, a smart, opinionated man who impressed his ideals onto his son. J.S. Mill was also something of a prodigy, reading advanced text from a young age.

Attack 2 : Philosophy
Mill, like Bentham, was a proponent of utilitarianism, and called for a logic, rationale based reform to the justice system. His "harm principle" stated that power should only be employed to prevent harm to others.
