Relative Density is the floating or sinking of an object when compared to water. Matter with greater density than water sinks and less density floats.

Attack 2 : Examples
Oil will float on top of water when poured in the same container so oil is less dense than water. Corn syrup is more dense than water so it will sink to the bottom when poured into the same container.
