Attack 1 : First Fighter Aircraft
The first fighter aircraft was technically made by Roland Garros, who mounted an automatic rifle on his aircraft do that he could fire forward through the propeller. The rear of the propeller was armored with steel plates to deflect the bullets.

Attack 2 : Germans
Unfortunately, Garros fell behind enemy lines and the Germans found his plane and his idea. The idea was advanced upon by Dutch designer Anthony Fokker.
