He has a good relation with the military because he was in it at one point. He did send troops to Panama and Iraq. In both of these cases he had support from the public and they were both successes.

Attack 2 : Guardian of the Economy
The biggest thing that he emphasized was NO NEW TAXES. However despite his ideas for the economy it still struggled. At the end of the presidency the country was not better off than it was before he took control.
