If inflicted, it is a powerful move, but there is a high risk that the gun will misfire. Okonkwo shot at his wife but missed. He also misfired and killed a clansman.

Comments : Okonkwo will beat anyone arbitrarily to showcase his strength or to let out his anger. This backfires when he kills the court messenger.
