The Dark Lord doesn't like other Earthlings around. If any pokemon comes near and uses the energy from the lightning above and completely drains the defender.

Attack 2 : Destroier
The Dark Lord ends up destroying it's defender but he can go further. He can completely takes it's energy and power so the defender is useless and he feeds off the energy for power.
