Thomas Hobbes was an English political philosopher who came up with the ideas of a social contract and perpetuated the idea of absolutism. He would travel to europe and engage in debates with one of his pupils Galileo. In 1651 he'd write one of his most popular books The Leviathan.

Attack 2 : Death and Legacy
He died in 1679, leaving behind some of his ideals which would affect some of the government. He was an important philosopher and would be an important figure in the making of the constitution due to the social contract theory.
